   Overall, very happy with item. I have it clamped to the headboard of my bed and use it with a tablet while laying on my back. I think this is much higher quality than the $20 ones that you see on Amazon.
   It’s very well built, the spring-loaded tablet holder makes it easy to put the tablet in the holder, and easy to remove. The clamp handle on the base can be lifted and rotated while tightening the clamp, so having the headboard close to a wall should not be a concern.
   The gooseneck itself is the main item of concern. If this is for use by an elderly or person with arm strength concerns, they may need assistance. The gooseneck doesn’t just sit in place, you have to raise it and wrestle with it then let it settle into the position you want. Once you play around with it, you’ll get used to it. I think I saw a photo of this being mounted to a fork truck. That’ll not work, it will bounce around and I can guarantee it won’t remain in place.
   Once you have it in position, it will remain there as long as it’s mounted to something stationary, and it’s fairly sturdy when you tap the screen, but there is some bounce, so this isn’t really up to the task of a hardworking user who needs a rock solid mount.
   The gooseneck is only 24″ long, which is ok with my bed, but another 6″-12′ of length would be useful, at the cost of more bounce.
   Glad I purchased it, would buy again.
